How to Manage Your Time Effectively?

How to Manage Your Time Effectively?

There is a philosophy-cum-reality that life is a time investment that creates results. Think for a second that where your time investment is leading you. Are you spending your time on Netflix to satisfy your desires? or you are spending your time reading good content, learning from mentors in your field, or building a good physical body? The Results of both investments will be very different. The way we use our time determines where we will be after 5 years. In this Blog, we are going to discuss the Idea of How to manage your time?

“Time is the most valuable coin in your life. You and you alone will determine how that coin will be spent. Be careful not to let other people spend it for you.”
― Carl Sandburg

Background:

How?

It’s a compound effect.

& what’s that?

Have you ever seen a person who just took one burger & cold drink & eventually he became fat?

Have you ever seen a person who did not exercise for one day & got a heart attack?

Absolutely No because nothing happens.

But if a person keeps having fast food then his body will definitely start getting abnormal.

If a person does not do cardio or exercise or jogging or whatever physical it will definitely affect his health.

Look!

Things matter if you keep investing your time in them. If the things are positive, then you will get a positive result & if the things are negative then the investment amount is lost & you are a failure. The above chart is the minimum possible amount of progress (positive or negative both) you will make if you keep consistency. Your fast food will not be limited to 1 cola & cheese burger forever, your smartphone will jump to 8-9 hours a day, your book reading speed will increase & you will read more pages, and more content & you will give more time to study, your cardio will never be limited to one kilometer for 5 years, you will increase your distance & may reach up to or more than 10kms in the day & your results will give you more fruits, So it’s you & your time that matters in this case most.

Now let’s discuss the second dimension of the story which is also much important:

In our daily life, there are small tasks that waste our time. Make a list of all these tasks and try to get them out of life one by one. They are great obstacles to the journey toward success and if you want, you can achieve your goal by removing these obstacles from your life. If you are planning well in your life and using your time best you are definitely capable of achieving your goals.

To manage your time effectively, Do things in your spare time that adds to your personality. For example, cleaning your room, helping your loved ones in their tasks, teaching your siblings, and trying to carry out your daily tasks yourself. Make a list of all such tasks and start doing them. Believe that it will make your life better for example. If you start reading this book today, you may only read two pages and if you make it a habit to read the book daily, then be sure. After a year you will have read the 15 best books. And because of these fifteen books, you will have more knowledge and wisdom than others. This will help you better determine your decisions and your priorities.

                                   What is time management?

Time management is all about doing things well in a timely manner, maintaining balance in your life, setting your priorities, working hard to get more results, and giving your energy in the right direction.

Time management is actually the process by which we seek to achieve our goals by being part of the process of “managing your time”. The most important thing about nature is that it gives every man, woman, sick, healthy, rich, poor, twenty-four hours an equal opportunity to achieve something in life, without any distinction. The main difference between a successful and a failing human being is that a successful person is able to use his or her 24 hours well. A successful person spends most of his day in constructive work. Because of this, he gets closer to his goal. Successful people focus on productivity more than entertainment.

Here, we will try to understand and apply time management to the “time matrix” extracted from Stephen R. Covey’s famous book “Seven Habits of the Most Effective People.”

3. Urgent but not important

This is actually for time management of people who try to do everything or do other things instead of their work on a priority basis so that other people are happy with what is not possible. Such tasks include responding to emails, and DMs, responding to comments on Facebook, etc. You should try to distance yourself from these tasks so that you cannot waste your time doing less work in the box. Better determine your priorities. Manage your priorities to manage your time.
