Benefit Mindset Explained | The New Mental Model

benefit mindset

Albert Einstein once said “Our hardest battles are often with our mindsets” and that is so true. We really are the products of our mindsets. The way we speak, think, behave and react: all come under the umbrella of our mindset. Positive psychologists and researchers have always been trying to explain the differences in our mindsets with our respective personalities. This led us to the introduction of fixed and growth mindsets, that has been in talk for so long in the motivation and personal development industry. But recently, I have come along a new development in the science of mindsets. This was the term “Benefit Mindset” coined by “Ash Buchanan” and here is how he explain his new concept.

Fixed Mindset:

When we talk about stubborn people who consciously stop looking forward to more opportunities and decide not to get out of their comfort zones, we define them as “fixed mindset people.” They are less successful in their lives. They do less than required resulting in poor performance, the least life satisfaction, and less glory in their own eyes.

Growth Mindsets:

Growth Mindset people are leaders. They are lifetime learners. They look forward to creating and availing of more opportunities. They love to go out of their comfort zones to create results that Improve overall performance. We call them “Growth Mindset” people. They are pretty successful in their lives. They do more than required resulting in better performance, improved life satisfaction, and higher glory in their own eyes.

Benefit Mindsets:

This mindset is the product of a growth mindset. This mindset reflects the ideology of transformers and Change Agents. These people are philanthropists and social workers. After achieving their own glory, they look forward to contributing to society. They reflect on their strengths and resources and try to use their potential for the betterment of the world they live in. I believe that this is the highest potential that every successful person can attain. They turn their social work into their passion. They always prioritize other people first and try to add value to their lives. Benefit Mindset is all about contributing and transforming the lives of people with their own resources.

Keeping in mind the characteristics of a person with “Benefit Mindset”, Who comes in your mind?
